These photographs were taken in institutions of Higher Education in the state of Kerala.  
The juxtaposition between the marks of the founding fathers - the British or missionaries, and other signs, which indicate the intensive and alive search for a new identity, make these spaces into records of the past and present, and change at the same time.
In the late 90's the West and Middle East started to hire graduates from India, especially from Kerala.
